Karachi Bakery

Karachi Bakery

Karachi Bakery was started in 1953 by Khanchand Ramnani and it’s been more than six decades, the brand is still flourishing worldwide. Karachi Bakery started its journey from Moazzam Jahi Market. The first production unit was installed in the 1960s, which led to experimentation with flavors and ingredients, and the development of its brand of biscuits. The idea behind the brand was to retain its product quality and provide the people what they were looking for, their concept of growth was developed on a strong regional presence before setting foot for national expansion. The brand serves various varieties in bakery, confectionery & mithai (40 percent of the total revenue still comes from fruit, cashew, and Osmania biscuits)

It was only in 2006 it started expanding in Hyderabad and in 2008, when they opened their outlet in Hyderabad airport, this decision was illuminating for the brand as it started to be recognized at the national and global level. By 2016, there were 15 outlets across India, a store in Dubai was recently opened, and its products are exported to countries like the US, the UK, and Australia. But it hasn’t been all smooth for the much-loved bakery, it has faced its share of controversies in 2016, but they took the long road and established it according to religious customs. But whatever the origin, it is a name that is recognized today in every nook and cranny of India.
