Delectable Rose Gulkand Ladoo Recipe – A Fusion of Flavour and Elegance

Indulge in the enchanting flavours of Rose Gulkand Ladoos, a delightful fusion of traditional Indian sweets with a touch of floral elegance. This exquisite recipe combines the rich creaminess of paneer and condensed milk with the aromatic allure of Rooh Afza syrup and rose water, resulting in a treat that’s both visually stunning and delectably satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Homemade Paneer
  • ½ cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Rooh Afza Syrup
  • 4 cups Milk Powder
  • 3 tablespoons Milk (for kneading)
  • 2-3 drops Rose Water
  • A pinch of Pink Food Color (optional)
  • Ghee (for greasing)

For the Gulkand Filling:

  • 3 tablespoons Gulkand (Rose Petal Preserve)
  • 1 tablespoon Slivered Almonds
  • 1 tablespoon Slivered Pistachios

Instructions:

  1. Begin by crumbling the paneer into a bowl until it resembles breadcrumbs. Ensure the paneer has a moist and grainy texture rather than being sticky, as this will affect the final consistency.
  2. Combine the crumbled paneer and sweetened condensed milk in a bowl, and add the enchanting Rooh Afza syrup for that distinctive floral essence.
  3. Gradually add the milk powder or milk mawa powder to the mixture, resulting in a crumbly texture.
  4. Introduce 2 tablespoons of milk, rose water, and a touch of pink food color (if desired) into the mixture. Mix until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a food processor. If needed, add an additional tablespoon of milk and pulse until a soft, non-sticky dough forms. The mixture should hold its shape when pressed between your fingers.
  6. Allow the dough to rest for 15 minutes in a bowl. During this time, the mixture will firm up.
  7. For a smooth and crack-free texture, knead the cooled dough. In a separate bowl, combine the Gulkand (Rose Petal Preserve) with slivered almonds and pistachios to create a flavorful filling.
  8. Grease your hands with ghee and shape the dough into round ladoos. Flatten each ladoo, add a spoonful of the Gulkand filling in the center, then fold and mold the dough to create a well-enclosed ladoo.
  9. Repeat this process for the remaining dough, ensuring that the ladoos are covered to prevent them from drying out.
  10. These exquisite Rose Gulkand Ladoos can be enjoyed immediately or stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days, maintaining their freshness and flavor.

Delight your taste buds with these captivating Rose Gulkand Ladoos, a harmonious blend of traditional sweetness and floral allure. Whether served at festive occasions or enjoyed as an after-meal treat, these ladoos are a true embodiment of culinary artistry and taste.
